Here’s a Halloween question that might follow you around all weekend: what if the thing you’re most afraid of isn’t out there in the dark, but in here, in you?

What if the monster in the story is your own natural power, so big and so alive that you worry it could hurt someone just by being fully expressed? Every Element carries this secret fear in its own way, and it sounds like “I might be too much.”

Our Halloween Special this Friday is called ELEMENTAL FEARS & NIGHTMARES, and we’ll be taking a tour of the nightmare that lives inside each Element:

🌳 Wood’s nightmare is “I’ll end up alone at the top, and everyone will turn against me,” so Wood holds back, gets quieter, and becomes small instead.

🔥 Fire’s nightmare is “Nobody will love me if I’m really myself,” so Fire dims its own light and slowly loses touch with its heart.

🌍 Earth’s nightmare is “I’ll have nothing left,” so Earth stops giving freely and can end up becoming the needy person it feared most.

🗡️ Metal’s nightmare is “I’ll be cast out,” so Metal learns to perform and fit in, and loses a little more of itself each time.

🌊 Water’s nightmare is “I’ll destroy everything,” so Water contains its intensity so tightly that it turns stagnant.

Forget ghosts - your REAL nightmare is being fully yourself! Because suppression hurts far more than the expression ever could.

Tonight we’ll walk through each Element’s nightmare, see how the Element that’s meant to temper us can turn into a jailer when fear takes over, and uncover the gift each of us has been sitting on. Then we’ll finish with a guided meditation where you’ll find the place in your body where the brake lives, feel what it costs you, and practice what it feels like to move forward without fighting yourself.

This isn't about going inward to release your Rebellious Qi (we did that in Meditation Monday).

This is about going OUTWARD and BEING your courage.
